Who are we?
Hinunik is a social company (SSC) founded by students of Yerevan School No. 107. Our initiative was created by talented and initiative young people who want to combine their creative potential, business skills and love for cultural heritage to create a valuable product.
The history of the name
The name “Hinunik” was born from the fusion of two languages. It carries the Armenian root “հին” (old), which expresses our respect for Armenian culture and traditions, and the English word “unique”, which reflects the unique and special nature of our products. “Հին” (old) + unique = Hinunik: a name that is unique, like all our products.
Our Vision
Hinunik is based on our belief that ancient Armenian ornaments and traditional motifs can harmoniously merge with modern design, creating something that simultaneously pays homage to our past and looks to the future. As young entrepreneurs, we believe that the oldest traditions can be revived in new, fresh and modern ways, and that our generation has a unique opportunity to become a bridge between the past and the future.
Our Product
Our social student company produces high-quality eco-friendly bags that are not only beautiful and stylish, but also environmentally responsible. Each bag is handmade by our school students, imprinting their creativity and hard work on each product. Our bags reflect a unique combination of traditional Armenian ornaments and modern design.

“World of Mushrooms” SSC
On our initiative, we have created a “World of Mushrooms” social student company, which will be engaged in the production and sale of Oyster mushrooms (white mushrooms). We chose mushrooms not only because they are a healthy and in-demand product, but also because the production process is interesting, affordable and educational.
